Dec 18, 2019 - The Christmas Lites IX fantasy/horror anthology has just released on Kindle on Amazon. This includes my horror short story, By Midnight. Find the link with the anthology's cover here. Now waiting for the paperback edition's release.

Dec 11, 2019 - I am pleased to announced that five micro stories of mine were accepted for Nano Nightmares anthology, releasing in 2020. All the stories included in this book are comprised of only two sentences. It will be available in print and as an eBook.

Dec 10, 2019 - My Christmas horror short story, By Midnight, was accepted for Christmas Lites IX anthology, and I just got the cover in my email. Isn't it lovely, even if many of the tales are fantasy and horror? Right now, I'm waiting for the release date, and when I have it, the link to the cover will be attached here, plus I'll add an update to What's New.

Dec 1, 2019 - I am happy to announce I will be interviewed on the Night Visions podcast on January 8, 2020. sometime between 10-11 p.m. Eastern, on Vibe Radio Network Online Radio by Vibe Radio Network. I'm not sure if it'll be live, or recorded then posted. I will let everyone know more closer to the day. Sep 18, 2019 - I am pleased to announce that I will be making an appearance on WTVR-6's Virginia This Morning on Friday, October 4th. My interview about my new ghost book, Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations will be sometime between 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. For those not living in the Richmond or nearby areas, you can stream the talk show live here. Sep 15, 2019 - Another publisher cover reveal this weekend, an anthology in which I have a true ghost story Cavalier Hotel included. The title of the book is HANDBOOK for the DEAD. You can see the cover here.

Sep 13, 2019 - I am sharing the cover for my science fiction novella, MAVERICK HEARTt, coming real soon from Dreampunk Press.

Lieutenant Michelle Roddenberry is a maverick and flaunts the rules. But as an officer in the Terra Federation Navy and with a galactic war going on against an alien race, one must follow orders. It is the difference between life and death. Grounded from joining her squadron on another mission and about to be dishonorably discharged too, she flaunts the rules again and steals her fighter spacecraft, flying off to join her squadron for one last battle.

Instead of finding her squadron, Michelle crashes on an unknown planet. It is a world full of changing wonder and danger. She finds another castaway there, an alien called Dakna. Both find themselves in a war with the planet, as Michelle tries to find a way off planet for them. The rule book thrown out; Michelle may find her maverick ways the only way to survive.


I will be doing a book signing at haunted Rosewell Plantation in Gloucester, Virginia on Friday, October 25th. I will be there 6:30 p.m. before the 7-8 p.m. tour, I'll be signing afterwards, and until after the 8:30-9:30 p.m. tour I will be signing. Sep 11, 2019 - The book signing at Books A Million this Sunday, September 16th has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2019, from Noon to 2 p.m. See all the rest at Appearances at a Glance. They don't have the books in, and since I didn't have a free weekend until November, it was rescheduled. I am very sorry.

Sep 9, 2019 - I will be doing another radio interview about my new ghost book, Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations, on Wednesday, October 23rd, between 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Boomtown Radio. Aug 26, 2019 - I will be returning to Colonial Williamsburg at Revolutions at the Visitor's Center on Saturday, October 26th, to sign copies of Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations. Anyone can attend my signing--it's free, just purchase the book there to get signed.

Jul 31, 2019 - There will be a special event, a Facebook party on Facebook, Sunday, October 6, 2019, for my new ghost book, Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations, along with another Schiffer Publishing author, Susan Schwartz and her ghost book, Haunted Charlottesville and Surrounding Counties. The event will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. There will be prizes from us both, including a signed copy of my book to be mailed to the main winner of my hour (only in the USA--sorry).

Jul 8, 2019 - I learned that the shipment for Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations books should arrive at Schiffer Publishing July 17th, and of course, it releases everywhere else July 28th. I already have book signings set up at some bookstores and other places.

I will have a giveaway basket of goodies at one of my signings, including a gift cert for Retro Daddio. I'll be signing there on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Jun 11, 2019 - I am pleased to announce I will be doing a workshop, "Breaking Out of Your Shell," at the Virginia Writers Club Navigating Your Writing Life Symposium 2019 August 3, 2019, at the V. Earl Dickinson Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia. For those who are writers or trying to be, to sign up for this one-day conference, there is an early-bird deal for those registering before July 1st at Symposium (you don't have to be a Virginia Writers Club member). I will also be doing Monster Fest in Chesapeake, Virginia October 5th this year again.

May 29, 2019 - A few more weeks and all the copies of Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations will be in Schiffer Publishing's warehouse. Already, I have set up the place, Retro Daddio in Williamsburg, Virginia for the book release event. I now have a book signing set up for Saturday, August 17th, at Barnes and Noble bookstore that also is the William and Mary College bookstore. May 1, 2019 - The 13 Backyard Monsters anthology is now available in paperback. You can buy it at Amazon, same as the Kindle version. I ordered some copies and will have copies of it for the first time at Fandom Fest at the Grissom Library in Newport News May 11th.

Now for exciting news. I just received the first copy of Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations along with a bottle of red wine from Schiffer Publishing. That means in 6-8 weeks the rest of the books will be arriving at Schiffer's warehouse, meaning earlier than the July 2019 release date. If you want a copy when it releases, you can preorder it at Schiffer Publishing or Amazon, though Schiffer will get it to you the fastest.

I am excited to announce that I, along with authors Susan Schwartz and Carol Smith, will be interviewed about our stories in the nonfiction true ghost stories anthology, Paranormal Encounters, on WTVR-6's Virginia This Morning on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. It will happen sometime between 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. If you cannot watch it or record the show, the video of the interview should be up on their website, Virginia This Morning | WTVR.com that afternoon after 2 p.m.

Mar 2, 2019 - I'm excited, as Paranormal Encounters was first released February 24, 2019, at Amazon in Kindle, and that day became a #1 new release bestseller in Occult Parapsychology! And now, it was released in paperback Friday, March 1st, in paperback. You can find the links at the cover on the Ghost Books page.

Feb 22, 2019 - I'm excited! My third ghost book, Virginia’s Haunted Historic Triangle: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, & Other Haunted Locations is going for its second printing. It will have an all new cover and book blurb, twenty additional pages with a new chapter, plus new stories added to other chapters, and ten new photos of ghost images. It releases at the end of July 2019 and is now available for preorder at Amazon and Shiffer. (I would suggest Schiffer, as the books come there first and those preorders are the first shipped out. Jan 22, 2019 - I just signed two contracts for two true ghost stories that happened to me. Both tales will be in the anthology, Paranormal Encounters, to be published by Anubis Press sometime in 2019.

I can now say that in 2019, I will also be selling and signing my books at the Chesterfield Comic Con March 16th, the Hanover Book Festival April 27th, and returning to do the 28th Annual Jingle Bell Bazaar at Ecoff Elementary School December 7th. Jan 15, 2019 - The anthology, FAE THEE WELL, that includes my dark fantasy story, "Last Chance," will premiere at Marscon in Williamsburg, Virginia January 18-20th.
